1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Anavantage ("the Service"), operated by D-Abacus ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Anavantage, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. What the Service Is
Anavantage is an interview preparation tool. It provides mock interviews, resume tailoring, job match scoring, and related career preparation features. The Service is for practice and self-improvement only.
Anavantage does not guarantee employment, interviews, or any particular outcome. Anavantage provides feedback and scores to help you refine your interview responses. These are practice tools and estimates - they are not hiring predictions, guaranteed outcomes, or a substitute for personalized career counseling. You remain responsible for your career decisions.
4. Your Account
- One account per person. Do not share your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information when signing up.
- Notify us at support@d-abacus.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without permission
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Upload malicious content, malware, or content that violates third-party rights
- Abuse the platform in a way that degrades performance for other users
6. Content Ownership
- Your content: You own your resume, job descriptions, and interview responses. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service.
- Our content: The platform, interface, generated feedback, scorecards, and tailored documents are owned by D-Abacus or its licensors. You may use generated content (tailored resumes, cover letters) for your personal job applications.
- Feedback: Any feedback or suggestions you submit about the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund or prorate charges already incurred for the current billing period.
- No refunds on subscription fees. Once a billing period has begun, the fee for that period is non-refundable. After cancellation you retain full access until the end of the period you paid for; the subscription then ends and is not auto-renewed.
- Add-on packs are non-refundable. One-time add-on purchases (e.g. the $9.99 USD Interview Pack) are final once charged. Unused credits expire 3 months after purchase.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their current rate until the end of their billing cycle.
- All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD). If your card or bank account is denominated in another currency, your financial institution will convert the charge at their prevailing exchange rate and may apply foreign-transaction or currency-conversion fees. The amount you are charged in your local currency may therefore differ from the USD amount shown at checkout. We do not control exchange rates or any fees imposed by your card issuer, bank, or payment network, and we are not responsible or liable for any such differences, fees, or related disputes. For any questions about the converted amount or fees, please contact your financial institution directly.
8. Free and Coupon Access
Free preview and coupon-based access are provided at our discretion and may be modified, limited, or revoked at any time without notice.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or suitable for any specific purpose.
Tailored resumes and generated cover letters: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, authenticity, and truthfulness of every change suggested or every claim generated. By submitting a tailored resume or sending a generated cover letter to an employer, you confirm you have reviewed the content and accept full responsibility for it. Anavantage provides suggestions only and makes no representation that generated content accurately reflects your experience.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, D-Abacus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on data deletion.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
